Akaroa Harbour Basin Settlements Study 2007
The Akaroa Harbour Basin Settlements Study is all about figuring out the big problems and challenges in the area, but it’s not the final answer. We’ve looked at more than 90 different reports about Akaroa Harbour Basin and the places around it. At the end of each part of this study, we’ve pointed out the main issues we’ve found and where we’re missing important information.
This document is just the beginning. After we talk to the public and get their ideas, we’ll put together a final document about the issues we’ve found. We’ve been talking to different parts of the Council while making this document to make sure everyone’s on the same page about planning for the harbour area.
It’s not like a school paper, so we haven’t listed all the places we got information from in the text. But if you’re interested, you can find all that stuff listed at the end of this document in the Bibliography section.
